Those displaced by climate events often lack protections due to the absence of global infrastructure granting them asylum or refugee status. Yet, communities worldwide are rising to this challenge, fostering change and resilience to create a Hopeful Planet.

Displaced women and girls face unique risks compared to their male counterparts. JRS addresses these challenges through a comprehensive strategy that includes mental health support, livelihoods programs, gender-responsive education, and peace initiatives.
